Dr. Cassell received his undergraduate degree from Coe College. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Oviedo. He completed his internship at St. Barnabas Medical Center in 1980, and his obstetrics and gynecology residency training at Bridgeport Hospital in 1984.

Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Cassell specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. He began practicing with OB/GYN of Fairfield County since 1985.

Dr. Cassell is fluent in both English and Spanish.
